The V1 HD light offers a secure future proof concept for underwater lighting specifically for GRP hulled superyachts and can be used on medium sized aluminium and steel hulled yachts with the use of an isolating delrin sleeve.

With the thru-hull housing section secured into the hull the light engine can be inserted into the rear of the housing independently. Should any maintenance be required the light engine can be removed with specialist tools to be inspected, repaired or replaced all from inside the hull.

There is a sealed air bleed screw that is removed during insertion and removal to release air pressure, this also acts as a safety system for crew members removing lights, as it indicates if the front lens or seals have been compromised before the removal of the engine has taken place. The V1 HD is made with unique linear optics which help minimise the amount of lost light through the waters surface through refraction and maximise the beam spread in the water helping to blend one light into the next. The light engine and electronics are factory sealed to prevent water ingress and internal corrosion and results in minimal spare parts. Using Deutsch plug and play connectors the entire system can be quickly fitted and serviced if the need arises.

Power options are available, either as individual AC drivers or grouped in an AC driver cabinet system whereby all the electronics can be centrally located. Additional options such as dimming, panic mode and remote control are all possible with an integrated control system.

To further customise the underwater lighting effect, three beam angle options are available. A narrow 20 degree beam is sometimes popular off the stern creating a jet like effect. The 60 degree beam is the standard medium width beam pattern and the 140 degree flood beam is most often chosen for blending lights together down port and starboard.
